Officers are investigating two shootings believed to be unrelated about half a mile apart near Decatur Boulevard and Sahara Avenue, according to Metro Police.
The first incident was reported just before 6 p.m. near Decatur and Sahara, and police responded to the second about 6:10 p.m. near Decatur and Edna Avenue, Lt. Jeff Goodwin said.
One person was injured in each incident and taken to University Medical Center with injuries believed to be nonlife-threatening, Goodwin said.
Ages and genders of the victims weren't immediately available.
No suspects are in custody, and there are lane closures on Decatur as police investigate, he said.
