2 injured in motorcycle accident near Westgate Las Vegas

The operator and passenger of a motorcycle were taken to the hospital after a crash Friday evening near the Westgate Las Vegas, according to Metro Police.

Police were called about 8:20 p.m. to the 3000 block of Paradise Road, near Sahara Avenue, Lt. Kendall Bell said.

The motorcycle and a car crashed, and two people on the motorcycle were taken to Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center, he said.

They suffered nonlife-threatening injuries, he said.

It appears the driver of the car didn't see the motorcycle, Bell said.

The car was at fault, and both vehicles remained on scene, he said.

Traffic was not being affected by the incident, according to police.
