The lights went out briefly tonight at the Las Vegas High School football stadium. When they were turned back on, the sprinklers also came on.

But the delays didn’t slow down the Wildcats against Cimarron-Memorial.

Ronnie Broadhead passed for three touchdowns and Las Vegas led by three touchdowns at halftime in a 37-19 win.

Hanoi Rabago had two touchdown receptions for Las Vegas (2-1), who won for the second straight game.

“We are playing better, but we are still trying to eliminate the mistakes,” Las Vegas coach James Thurman said. “We are still missing tackles. We are trying to get better.”

Zach Loveland and Raul Perez also caught touchdowns for the Wildcats, and Zach Matlock had a touchdown pass. Elijah Hicks added a touchdown run.
