A United Airlines flight to Newark, N.J., returned to McCarran International Airport this afternoon following uncertainty over the plane's landing gear, according to an airport spokeswoman.
United Flight 195 departed McCarran about 2 p.m. but returned about 2:20 p.m., airport spokeswoman Melissa Nunnery said.
There were 222 people aboard the Boeing 757, she said.
