Police: Man stabbed in head during argument; woman arrested

A woman was arrested this morning after a man was stabbed in the head during an argument at a Boulder Highway extended-stay hotel, according to Metro Police.

The man suffered nonlife-threatening injuries, and a 3-year-old child inside the apartment at the time was not injured, police said.

Officers responded about 4:30 a.m. to Budget Suites at 4625 Boulder Highway, near East Twain Avenue. An argument between the man and woman escalated, and the man was stabbed in the head and arm, police said.

Police did not release any names or information about the relationship between the man and woman.

The man was transported to an area hospital, police said.

The woman was arrested on counts of battery-domestic violence with a deadly weapon, police said.
