Coroner IDs man, 41, found dead at Las Vegas park

A 41-year-old man whose body was found at a central valley park Saturday morning has been identified as Anthony Renard Prather, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

Prather, whose city of residence was not available, died of blunt-force injuries in an assault, according to the Coroner’s Office. His body was found at Doolittle Park, 951 W. Lake Mead Blvd., near North Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Officers were called about 9:20 a.m. to Doolittle Park, 951 W. Lake Mead Blvd., to assist Las Vegas marshals with a report of a body, Metro Police said. Medical personnel pronounced Prather dead at the scene.

He suffered injuries that may have been sustained in a fight early Saturday, according to police.

No arrests have been made, Metro Officer Michael Rodriguez said.
