A mobile home was destroyed early this morning after a fire near North Walnut Road and East Tonopah Avenue, according to the Clark County Fire Department.
Also according to the fire department:
Fire crews responded about 1:05 a.m. to Arcadia Mobile Home Park at 1832 North Walnut Road, where heavy flames were coming from the single- wide mobile home.
A caller originally reported that two children were missing, but they were accounted for when fire crews arrived.
Firefighters put out the blaze in less than 10 minutes. The mobile home was a total loss; property damage costs are still being evaluated.
The American Red Cross assisted with the family of four — including two adults and two children — who were displaced by the fire. Nobody was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
