Coroner IDs man shot to death at Las Vegas motel

A man police said was slain early Wednesday after an argument at a central valley motel has been identified as Pedro Munoz Rodriguez, 37, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

Rodriguez, whose place of residence was not available, died from a gunshot wound to the head, officials said.

Metro Police said they were called about 2 a.m. Wednesday to the 2000 block of Fremont Street, near Oakey Boulevard, where they found Rodriguez lying near a doorway. He died at University Medical Center.

Rodriguez was shot after arguing with another man, police said.

The shooter drove away eastbound on Fremont in a four-door, white sedan with dark-tinted windows, police said.
