A woman suffered serious injuries and the driver of the car she was in was booked on a count of driving under the influence Friday night in southwest Las Vegas.
According to Metro Police:
About 9:15 p.m., the pair from Pahrump were in a 1996 Mercedes on Desert Inn Road, turning onto Fort Apache Road.
The Mercedes was in a “permissive traffic light” and was struck by a Lexus while turning.
The 55-year-old woman in the Mercedes was taken to University Medical Center. Driver Patrick Peartree, 65, was booked on one count of DUI, according to Clark County Detention Center logs.
Peartree suffered minor injuries, as did the 40-year-old driver of the Lexus.
