A man was in surgery Tuesday night following a stabbing near downtown Las Vegas, according to Metro Police.
He was stabbed multiple times but is expected to survive, Metro Lt. Kendall Bell said.
Officers were dispatched to the area near Owens Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard North about 6 p.m., according to fire department logs.
The wounded man was taken to University Medical Center and a person was arrested, Bell said.
