4 arrested after shots fired outside Henderson Olive Garden

A gunman who fired rounds into the air outside a Henderson Olive Garden was arrested along with three others Thursday night, according to city police.

No one was injured, police spokeswoman Michelle French said.

Officers received multiple calls reporting the shooting outside the restaurant at 4400 E. Sunset Road, near Green Valley Parkway, about 7 p.m., she said.

Police believe the gunman, along with the other three men, went into a Smith's grocery store to shoplift after the Olive Garden incident, French said. It wasn't immediately clear why the gunman fired shots.

As officers approached, the men tried to hide in the neighboring Barley's Casino & Brewing Co., French said. The threat of using police dogs made three of the men come out. Officers took the other man into custody inside.

The incidents remain under investigation.
