A man is in critical condition after crashing his moped into a pole Sunday afternoon in the central valley, according to Metro Police.
The crash occurred on Las Vegas Boulevard near Owens Avenue at approximately 12:30 p.m. according to police.
The man was taken to University Medical Center with a head injury and fatal detectives are investigating the scene, police said.
