A man found shot to death inside a vehicle Friday night has been identified by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
He was Leon Max Velasquez, a 21-year-old North Las Vegas resident, according to coroner's office staff. He died from gunshot wounds to the head and torso.
According to Metro Police:
The gunman, who has not been identified, was inside the vehicle when the shots were fired.
Officers were called about 11:45 p.m. to the 1900 block of Cindysue Street, near Rancho Drive, north of Vegas Drive, where they found Velasquez's body.
A witness described the shooter as a black man ages 18 to 20 who wore a red hooded pullover and tan shorts and had braided hair.
