A man is expected to survive after being shot during a robbery early this morning, according to Metro Police.
The robbery happened about 1:40 a.m. in the parking lot of a strip mall in the 9200 block of Cimarron Road, near Blue Diamond Road, Metro officer Laura Meltzer said.
The man, who was in a vehicle, was wounded in the shoulder and taken to University Medical Center, Meltzer said.
The investigation is ongoing.
