Woman in serious condition after NLV shooting

A woman shot in North Las Vegas tonight was hospitalized in serious condition, according to city police.

First responders were called about 8 p.m. to the 2600 block of Revere Street, near Carey Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard, North Las Vegas police officer Ann Cavaricci said.

Responding officers found that the woman was suffering from a gunshot wound, Cavaricci said. She was taken to University Medical Center in serious condition.

Police did not identify a suspect or a motive.
