Metro Police are trying to identify and locate a suspect in an armed robbery Saturday in the southwest valley.
A man walked into a financial institution near Durango Drive and Russell Road about 2:30 p.m., pointed a gun at employees and demanded money, police said. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
The man was between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 2 inches tall, had a medium build and was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white shoes, police said.
