SEATTLE — Police arrested a teenage boy Friday in connection with a shooting at an east valley residence that left a man dead Feb. 9.

Devin Alvague, 17, was located and arrested without incident at a residence in the 1300 block of Cashman Drive, near Oakey and Valley View boulevards. He was booked into Clark County Detention Center and faces one count of murder with a deadly weapon. He will be tried as an adult.

The shooting was reported about 1:30 p.m. Feb. 9 in the front yard of a house in the 2900 block of Kennewick Drive, near Vegas Valley Drive and Mojave Road.

First responders found Michael Allen Guinn, 42, struggling to breathe and with a gunshot wound in the upper torso, police said. He died at Sunrise Hospital.

Also according to police:

The shooting stemmed from an argument between Guinn and another person about money owed.

The second subject in the vehicle at the time of the incident has been located and interviewed by detectives and is no longer being sought in connection with the incident.
