A person was shot by a security guard Wednesday evening near Centennial Hills Hospital in the northwest valley, according to Metro Police.
Officers responded about 7:20 p.m. to the 6900 block of North Durango Drive, near Deer Springs Way and Elkhorn Road, police said.
A security guard shot the subject, who was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition, police said. It is unclear what led to the confrontation.
It is also unclear which business the security guard was protecting.
Durango Drive is closed from Dorrell Lane to Elkhorn Road as police investigate the shooting.
