One person was killed and another injured in a drive-by shooting near Arizona Charlie’s Decatur early Sunday morning.
According to Metro Police, the shooting happened about 1:50 a.m. near Decatur and Charleston boulevards.
The two victims were in their car traveling on Decatur in front of the Arizona Charlie’s when they were confronted by a suspect in another vehicle. The suspect fired shots from the vehicle and fled the scene, and the victims’ car came to a stop at Evergreen Avenue, police said.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to University Medical Center for treatment.
No suspects have been arrested and the investigation is ongoing.
