A woman killed in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday in Henderson has been identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as 50-year-old Echial Taylor.
Taylor was crossing Boulder Highway near Warm Springs Road about 11 p.m. outside of a marked crosswalk when she was hit by a car that had been reported stolen, according to Henderson Police.
Eric Scott Leppard, 24, of Henderson, turned himself in Saturday and is accused of driving the car that hit Taylor, according to Henderson Police. The car, a 2003 Mercedes-Benz, was found a few hours after the crash, police said.
Leppard was booked at the Henderson Detention Center on counts of felony hit-and-run, reckless driving involving a death and failure to render aid, police said.
