A Valley High School special education teacher was arrested earlier this month for alleged sexual misconduct with a student, a Clark County School District spokeswoman said.
Jillian Lafave, 25, was booked into Clark County Detention Center on Jan. 15, said district spokeswoman Michelle Booth. She was released after posting $5,000 bail and will appear in court March 30.
Valley High School’s website lists Lafave as a teacher. She is currently suspended without pay, Booth said.
Officials have not released further details about the alleged misconduct or what led to the arrest.
