A woman was shot and killed at a northeast valley townhouse early this morning, according to Metro Police. A shooter or motive in the slaying have not been determined.
Also according to police:
Officers were called about 2:40 a.m. to the 3800 block of Terrazzo Avenue, near Geist Avenue and Hawken Drive, after receiving calls about a woman crying for help. They found her lying in a doorway, suffering from a gunshot wound. She later died at University Medical Center.
An investigation determined she was shot inside the doorway and fell nearby. She will be identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
