Updated Thursday, July 7, 2016 | 2:40 p.m.

A man was shot to death early today during an altercation outside a central valley convenience store, according to Metro Police.

Officers responded about 2 a.m. to reports of gunshots and a man on the ground in the parking lot of the business in the 2800 block of East Charleston Boulevard, near Fremont Street, police said. They found a man with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

The man was taken to University Medical Center, where he later died. His identity will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

The man arrived at the store with two other people and while they were in the parking lot, he got into an argument with another man, who pulled a gun and fired several times, police said.

The shooter was last seen leaving the store in a silver, newer-model, four-door sedan, possibly a Mazda, police said.

No arrests have been made and the motive for the shooting has not been determined, police said.

Police released a video of a man they identified as a suspect entering the store.
