A car was split in two in a crash this morning that sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries, according to Metro Police.
The crash was reported about 7:30 a.m. near Jones Boulevard and Flamingo Road. At least two cars were involved, and one was “split in half,” Officer Laura Meltzer said.
One person was taken to University Medical Center with minor injuries, police said.
The northbound lanes of Jones Boulevard were closed in the area for about two hours.
