Man found with gunshot wound
A man died after he was found with a gunshot wound early Saturday in the middle of Jones Boulevard near Smoke Ranch Road, according to Metro Police.
Also according to police:
Officers found the man at 2:15 a.m. in the 2300 block of Jones. He died at University Medical Center.
Witnesses said they saw the man with another man near the Ashford Manor apartment complex before shots were heard in an alley. The man walked to the middle of the street, where he collapsed.
It wasn't immediately clear what led to the shooting.
