Fire spreads from barbecue grill to house

An outdoor barbecue grill caught fire this morning and spread to a house near Hacienda Avenue and Buffalo Drive, according to the Clark County Fire Department.

Nobody was injured.

Firefighters responded about 9:15 a.m. to a "large custom home" on Congressional Court, where the blaze was coming from a grill attached to the house, fire officials said. The fire had extended to the walls of the house, fire officials said.

Firefighters put out the blaze within about 10 minutes, officials said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Damage has not yet been estimated, officials said.
