A pedestrian was hospitalized in critical condition after being hit by a car Monday night in the east valley, according to Metro police.
The man was crossing Boulder Highway about 6:30 p.m. near the intersection with Tropicana Avenue, police said. He was not in a marked crosswalk, police said.
He was hit by a northbound Toyota Camry driven by a 28-year-old Las Vegas man and was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said.
The driver was not injured and remained on the scene, police said. The accident is under investigation.
