A fire Friday did an estimated $30,000 in damage to a vacant manufactured home on Pontiac Place in Henderson, near East Lake Mead Parkway and Mohawk Drive. No one was hurt.
According to the Henderson Fire Department:
A neighbor called 9-1-1 to report the fire about 10 p.m. Because of high winds, it threatened nearby structures. Four engines, one truck and two rescue units responded and quickly extinguished the blaze.
A Henderson fire investigator and NV Energy helped secure the property.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
