The Nevada Highway Patrol is looking for a silver-colored 2005 to 2008 Jeep Cherokee with heavy damage to its front and a broken tail light, NHP trooper Jason Buratczuk said. It had a front license plate holder with a skill design on it.

Lantuono was outside of a crosswalk about 1:40 a.m. when he was struck by the car on Blue Diamond Road near Cimarron Road, Buratczuk said. Lantuono died at St. Rose Dominican Hospital-San Martin Campus.
