The warmer-than-normal conditions in March might have prepared the Las Vegas Valley for the first day of spring Sunday.
If not, get ready for a high expected to be 86 degrees, followed by highs in the low 80s Monday and Tuesday.
Above-average temperatures this month could make it the warmest March on record, said National Weather Service meteorologist Barry Pierce. Sunday is expected to be the hottest day of the year so far, he added. Winds might blow up to 20 mph Sunday afternoon through Monday night.
