A motorcycle officer was taken to University Medical Center today after being struck by a vehicle, according to Metro Police.
The officer suffered what appeared to be multiple nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.
The collision was reported about 2:45 p.m. at Durango and Starboard drives in the west valley. Durango was shut down in both directions between Starboard and Desert Inn Road.
