A man accused by Metro Police of sex trafficking two runaway California teenagers was arrested Friday, according to his arrest report.

Marvin "Boss" Diggins, 19, is accused of prostituting the girls, ages 14 and 15, from Upland, Calif., the report says.

Also according to the report:

The girls came to Metro's attention late Thursday as they loitered in the area of the Hard Rock Hotel.

The same officers spotted the girls again about an hour later entering the MGM Grand.

The girls were reported runaways on Feb. 24 and Metro had received a tip from California authorities.

When questioned by police, the girls said they met Diggins and his brother after traveling to Las Vegas about a month ago.

Diggins "agreed to let them stay at his apartment" near Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane.

About a week later, Diggins told the girls they needed to start making money and advised them about prostitution.

He offered them guidelines on what to charge, how to trick people out of money, and how to use contraception. "Always get money and never come back empty-handed."

In the next couple of weeks, the girls worked on the Strip and took "almost all" of their earnings to Diggins.

Diggins, who was detained after witnesses interviewed by police said the girls were staying with him, did not speak to police during his Friday arrest.

He was charged with two counts each of sex trafficking of a child under 16, first-degree kidnapping, accepting earnings from prostitution and child abuse.

He is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
