Police have arrested two men in the fatal shooting at a Lee's Discount Liquor store last month, officials announced late Tuesday.

Ray Brown, 22, and Lee Dominic Sykes, 20, were arrested Tuesday without incident, Metro Police said.

They were booked at the Clark County Detention Center on counts including first-degree murder, kidnapping, burglary, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and child abuse, according to jail logs.

Details on their arrests — carried out by a task force comprising Metro, Henderson Police and the FBI — were not immediately available. Metro scheduled a media briefing Wednesday afternoon to discuss the arrests.

A third man, Lee Murry Sykes, 22, is being sought, police said. He is described as a black man who stands about 6 feet tall.

Matthew Christensen, a 24-year-old Las Vegan, was gunned down "execution style" while working at the store, 8785 W. Warm Springs Road, near Durango Drive, on April 18, police said.

Police said three men stormed the store about 9:45 p.m. At least two of them were armed.

The men might have become frustrated when they couldn't gain access to the store's safe and shot Christensen as he had his hands up, did not fight back and did not try to flee, police said.

They were seen running from the store about three minutes later, police said. Two other employees were present when the deadly attack took place.

The Christensen family said that one of them, a pregnant woman, had access to the safe but that Matthew Christensen might have been protecting her by not disclosing that information to the robbers.

A woman seen on surveillance video was initially being sought by Metro, but after speaking to her, they determined she was only a witness.
