A northwest valley toddler whose death Friday prompted a Metro Police investigation has been identified as Booker Lewis III.
The 3-year-old's cause and manner of death had not been determined, the Clark County Coroner's Office said Saturday.
Officers were called about 12:30 p.m. to the 8100 block of Villa Finestra Drive, near West Cheyenne Avenue east of North Rampart Boulevard. Medical crews found Booker unresponsive, and he died at Mountain View Hospital, police said.
Abuse-and-neglect detectives were investigating, which is common in any investigation involving a young child, officer Jesse Roybal said.
