A teen was shot to death Monday night when a gunfight broke out at an east valley apartment complex, according to Metro Police.
Police received reports about 7 p.m. of multiple gunshots near the pool area at the Silverwood Apartments on Nellis Boulevard, near Vegas Valley Drive.
Officers found a 17-year-old male with gunshot wounds near a dumpster on the east side of the apartment complex, police said. He was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
There were no arrests made, and homicide detectives have not identified any suspects, according to police.
