A motorcyclist was in critical condition and traffic was backed up at a central valley intersection today after a collision with an SUV, according to Metro Police.
The crash happened about 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of West Sahara Avenue and South Valley View Boulevard, Officer Larry Hadfield said. The motorcyclist was taken to University Medical Center.
The eastbound lanes of Sahara were closed at Valley View, Hadfield said. Motorists should expect delays, he said.
