A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and seriously injured today near Texas Station, according to North Las Vegas Police.
The incident shut down Lake Mead Boulevard between Rancho Road and Texas Star Lane, police said about 2:25 p.m.
The pedestrian was taken to University Medical Center in serious condition, police said. Further details were not immediately available.
