Two men were killed and authorities are searching for at least two people seen fleeing from a northwest valley apartment complex parking lot where gunfire broke out Tuesday night, according to Metro Police.
Officers were called about 6:15 p.m. to the Avery Park complex in the 2200 block of North Torrey Pines Drive, near Lake Mead Boulevard.
Two men were inside a vehicle when at least one shooter fired multiple rounds into it, police said.
Officers found one man on the ground outside the vehicle, police said. Both men died at University Medical Center shortly after arriving, police said.
