2 men sought in armed robbery near Jones, U.S. 95

This man is wanted in connection with a robbery near Jones Boulevard and U.S. 95 on Sept. 1, 2016.

Metro Police are searching for two armed men accused of robbing a man sitting in his vehicle near Jones Boulevard and U.S. 95 earlier this month.

Officers were called about 4:50 a.m. to the 5900 block of Bromley Avenue on Sept. 1, police said.

The victim told police he was sitting in his vehicle when he was approached by two black men, one of whom opened his door and pressed a gun to his neck, police said.

The robber took the man's wallet, cellphone and his bank card PIN number, police said.

The two men were later seen withdrawing hundreds of dollars from the victim's bank account through a convenience store ATM near Decatur Boulevard and Washington Avenue, police said.

One of the robbers stands about 5 feet, 8 inches and weighs about 150 pounds, police said. He was seen wearing dark clothes and a black beanie cap. The other man is described as standing about the same height and he wore a dark long-sleeved shirt with a white design, black pants and white shoes, police said.
