A vehicle crashed into a power box and knocked a traffic light off its pole this morning at Flamingo Road and Swenson Street, turning the intersection into a four-way stop, according to Metro Police.
The wreck happened about 8:45 a.m. and knocked out power to all traffic lights at the intersection. Police were asking drivers to use caution in the area and avoid the intersection if possible.
Police said officers checked the driver of the car for injuries and medical assistance was requested.
