A person in a wheelchair was hit by a car this morning near a bus stop in the central valley, according to Metro Police.
The accident happened about 10:45 a.m. at West Charleston and South Decatur boulevards, police said. It was not clear if the person was transported to the hospital.
Northbound lanes of Decatur were closed while officers investigated, police said.
