Noah Hawthorne and Anton Keeling had touchdown runs tonight for the Green Valley football team in a 19-16 victory over Coronado in the Southeast League opener.

The wins snaps a three-game losing streak, including the past two defeats by a combined nine points.

“After the three weeks we have had, it feels good to get back on track,” Green Valley coach Brian Castro said.

George Faber and defensive lineman Damian Cortez had interceptions.
