Two workers at Flamingo test positive for COVID-19

Two employees at the Flamingo have tested positive for COVID-19, resort operator Caesars Entertainment said today.

It was not clear what kinds of jobs they held or if they were in contact with guests.

The Flamingo was among the first Strip resorts to reopen after Gov. Steve Sisolak gave the go-ahead earlier this month.

Nevada’s casinos were closed in mid-March to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Sisolak authorized casinos to resume operations on June 4 with social distancing guidelines.
