Player hits $10.5 million Megabucks jackpot at South Point

A guest at the South Point won a $10.5 million jackpot early today, according to a news release from the casino.

The gambler, a visitor from New Mexico, was playing a Megabucks slot machine when they hit Nevada’s largest jackpot of the year so far. The player won on a $5 wager, according to the release.

The winner did not wish to be identified.

Megabucks is manufactured and operated by International Game Technology.
