A Henderson Police motorcycle officer was hospitalized with nonlife-threatening injuries today after a crash, the department said.
The wreck was reported about 1:40 p.m. at Warm Springs Road and Marks Street, police said. The officer, who was not identified, was taken to an area hospital.
A woman involved in the crash was not hurt, police said. Neither speed nor impairment were believed to be factors in the wreck, police said.
No additional information was released.
The intersection was expected to be closed for several hours, and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
