North Las Vegas Police report two homicides over 24 hours

North Las Vegas Police reported two separate homicides within a 24-hour period this week.

Officers responded about 10:25 p.m. Wednesday to reports of gunfire at a convenience store near Craig Road and Revere Street, department spokesman Alexander Cuevas said. A man was located suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another shooting was reported at 2:45 a.m. this morning, and officers were dispatched to an apartment complex near the 3300 block of Civic Center Drive, Cuevas said. The victim, a man believed to be in his mid-30s to mid-40s, was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspects have been arrested in either case, Cuevas said.
