Nacere Feltus’ interception at the end of the game secured a 26-22 victory for the Cimarron-Memorial football team against Desert Oasis.

Michael Sabina had three touchdown passes, including the winning scoring strike in the fourth quarter to Gilrelle Patterson.

Markwon Sargent also scored for the Spartans, who improved to 2-1 in league play and very much in contention for a No. 2 playoff seed with winnable games against Chaparral and Sunrise Mountain to close out the regular season.

“This makes the next two weeks interesting in our league with everyone fighting behind Silverado,” Cimarron-Memorial coach Shane Kanie said.
