Caden Harris had a career night for the Silverado football team with 290 yards of offense and three touchdowns in a 42-7 win against visiting Palo Verde.
Harris rushed for 159 yards and a touchdown and added 131 receiving yards and two more touchdowns.
Quarterback Brandon Tunnell completed 14 of 30 passes for 280 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for a score.
Donavyn Pellot rushed for a touchdown and had a receiving score.
Silverado, the defending class 4A champions, improves to 2-0 on the season — and both wins have come against class 5A opponents.
