Brady Sorenson had four catches for 128 yards and two touchdowns tonight for the Boulder City football team in a 45-0 win against host Western.
It was another good effort by the Eagles (2-1), who last week put up a fight against defending state champion Moapa Valley in a narrow defeat. Boulder City has won by the mercy rule in its two wins this season and has outscored opponents 127-26 in three games.
“We are still trying to figure out who we are (as a team),” Boulder City coach Chris Moreli said. “The game (with Moapa) proved our toughness. We have a lot of two-way starters who didn’t come off the field.”
Hunter Moore rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns, and Bruce Woodbury tallied 80 rushing yards and a touchdown on just two carries. Quarterback Jacob Bryant completed all six of his passing attempts for 167 yards and two touchdowns.
Defensively, Mason Terrill led the way with five tackles and Dylan Sullivan had an interception.
