A health care company is offering $15,000 sign-on bonuses for new-hire nurses in the Las Vegas Valley, an area that has long struggled to find enough nursing professionals to fill the needs of its growing population.
According to a news release, Optum Inc., a health care company that is a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group, will host an on-site hiring fair Tuesday where it will offer $15,000 hiring bonuses for registered nurses to work in the company’s home health department.
The event is scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Optum Care Home Health facility at 8655 S. Eastern Ave. in Las Vegas.
